About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer to join its mission-driven organization and play a pivotal role in redefining the future of radiology services. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of clinical excellence and strategic leadership, driving the clinical strategy, quality, and safety to enhance the patient experience. This leadership position requires a strong executive presence, exceptional communication, and the ability to unite and inspire cross-functional teams. The Chief Medical Officer will be responsible for maintaining a balanced schedule of clinical and administrative duties, engaging with the executive team, and leading innovation in radiology services, including the integration of digital health solutions and emerging technologies.
Applicants must have a U.S.-accredited residency in diagnostic radiology, with fellowship training strongly preferred, and be board-certified with an active, unrestricted state medical license. A minimum of five years of post-residency clinical practice, with a proven track record of leading within complex healthcare environments, is essential. The role also demands a commitment to the patient-first approach, the ability to foster a culture of accountability, trust, and collaboration, and a focus on operational excellence and patient outcomes. While not mandatory, an advanced degree in healthcare management or business and experience with physician leadership in multisite healthcare organizations are preferred. The Chief Medical Officer will also be responsible for mentoring radiologists and clinical staff, aligning departmental goals with organizational priorities, and representing the company externally to enhance its influence and reputation.
